Yes, you can absolutely get married. Nothing in the Bankruptcy Code that I have read prohibits or stops you from getting married if you file under any of the chapters for bankruptcy protection.

With that being said, once you get married, your social security number will be joined with your spouses social security number and it may negatively affect your spouse, but it does not stop you from getting married.
